Actrap AA-S1 Activated alumina is a high surface & porosity form of aluminum oxide which can adsorb liquids and gases. It is designed to supplement alumina performance in adsorption applications.
Actrap AA-S1 can provide longer cycles and longer life cycle to increase unit capacity compare to the use of standard inert media.

High Surface Area
The high surface area active bed supports provides additional contaminant removal capacity as an adsorbent, which allows longer cycle time, fewer regeneration and longer lifetime.
High Chemical Purity
Active bed support balls have very low silica content, which can minimize unwanted side reactions.
High Crush Strength
High crush strength support balls is used to prevent migration of adsorbent/catalyst from the vessel. A minimum of 75-150 mm is recommended on the top of the bed to serve as a gas flow distributor. For bed bottom, usually 75-300mm depth of bed support balls are installed.
