PuriTrap MHR80 is a macro porous raschig ring shaped inert toping media to filter fouling particles, like iron sulphide gums presented in the feed stream to the reactor, it is also used for pressure drop relief and distribution optimization, the material which is produced from a specially formulated alumina material and manufactured under strict controlled conditions ensuring the following properties:
High temperature resistance
High thermal shock resistance
Eliminate particulates and iron sulphide gum formation
Initial de-metallization
Uniform roundness to minimize pressure drop
High crushing strength.
High void space: 50%.
PuriTrap MHR80 provides high tortuous pathways, which trap foulants and particulates from feedstock as it passes through the material.
PuriTrap MHR80 is a cost-effective material with high particulate capacity for pressure drop control.
