Hydrotreating Process

Also known as hydrodesulfurization (or HDS), hydrotreating is a catalytic chemical process used to draw sulfur out of petroleum and natural gas products. With strict environment laws implemented, proper hydrotreating is necessary to lower sulfur dioxide emissions from the constant use of gasoline, diesel and natural gas products. The process is also important as low concentrations of sulfur poisons the noble metal catalysts used for naphtha streams.

Chempack offers hydrotreating solutions that are guaranteed to improve sulfur and nitrogen removal and provides a better hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation process during refining.
