Ceramic Balls, Catalyst Bed Support

Ceramic Balls

Ceramax ICB-23

Ceramax ICB-23 Inert Ceramic Ball is a standard bed support media used in the refinery and petrochemical industry due to the excellent quality and wide versatility.

Ceramax ICB-23 is widely used as catalyst bed support media in many fields, such as petroleum, chemical engineering, fertilizer, environmental industry, etc. Being the covering and supporting material for catalyst in the reactor. Ceramax ICB-17 can increase the distributing spots of gas or liquid when lead into the reactors while support and protect the catalyst bed from the rushing of the gas and liquid inside of the reactor.

Ceramax ICB-23 is produced from a specially formulated silica / alumina material and fired under strict controlled conditions ensuring the following properties:

Perfect spherical shape;
High chemical stability and thermal stability;
Excellent mechanical and physical properties;
Resistant to strong acids and alkalis.
