PuriSorb RS101 is a macroporous, strong acid cation catalyst in wet form. Its adsorptive properties derive from macroreticular pore structure, designed surface area and pore size distribution, which makes RS101 unique for a wide range of organic reactions, such as alkylaion, esterification, etherification, condensation hydrolysis. Its special high capacity and good mechanical strength makes it suitable for achieving fast reaction and longer operating life.
PuriSorb RS101 can also be used for removing impurities from process streams. Both cationic and anionic compounds can be removed through either ionic and adsorptive interactions of the polymer and its acidic groups with the impurites. The catalyst can be regenerated with HCl or H2SO4 solution.
