Dehydration absorbents work on the purification of raw materials by removing all impurities that can affect the production process and product quality. The raw material passes through the pellet or tube-shaped absorbents to initiate the filtering process. Water vapor, moisture, humidity, and odor, as well as other toxic chemicals, are then drawn out from the material. The impurities are then shifted out of the machine through disposal channels, while the purified material continues the downstream treatment process.
Oil refineries, natural gas plants, and petrochemical facilities require effective dehydration absorbents as part of their material refining and filtration process. As the needs for quality products continue to rise, these industries need to rely on only the best materials for their processes. Low-quality absorbents result in poor filtering, causing impurities to remain on the raw material. These impurities can damage the equipment or lower product quality, add additional costs for repairs, and lead to a lower profit.
Seeing the needs for quality yet competitively-priced dehydration absorbents in the market, Chempack worked with internal and external research facilities to develop a range of absorbents that are not only cost-effective, but also meeting industry standards. We have alumina-based absorbent pellets used as an effective dry desiccant for air, gas and liquid materials. Silica gel pellets, either alone or combined with alumina, are mostly used to keep materials free from water vapors. Activated carbon tubes are great absorbents for carbon materials, while our absorbents made from either sodium, potassium are used for a variety of other materials. Whatever chemical is needed to be filtered out, we have an absorbent to do the task.
Chempack aims to provide oil refineries, natural gas plants and petrochemical facilities dehydration adsorbent solutions through intensive research, product testing and superior manufacturing process. Collaborating with other industry experts, we have produced quality adsorbents that are designed to work with a variety of applications.
Each adsorbent type is carefully manufactured with top-grade materials and properly compacted to keep intact and to lessen the residual loss. They are formed and shaped to maximize their filtering capabilities. They also filter impurities at a very high rate assuring that raw materials are filtered to be as pure as possible.
Dehydration adsorbents from Chempack are masterfully engineered to filter different types of impurities from raw materials. These versatile adsorbents provide customers with low-cost yet effective options for general needs. Common uses for these products include drying agents and desiccants for air, gas and liquid materials; removal of carbon, carbon dioxide and weak polar and non-polar molecules; and feed purifications, among others.
Our lines of dehydration absorbents are guaranteed to be very porous, able to absorb a lot of impurities before disposal. The activated alumina, in particular, has a filtering surface area of around 350m²/gm. The feature reduces costs for the customer while being able to maximize purity for both the products and their materials in production.
To assure customers of maximized and efficient use, our line of dehydration absorbents are made to be compact and durable. Using advanced technology and manufacturing techniques, the absorbents are dust-free and have very low attrition loss of roughly 0.2%. Not only does this translate to efficiency, but it also protects the customer’s products for potential contamination or additional impurities.
